Medicare was created in the United States in 1966 for the older population. Medicare is the 2nd largest Insurance Program in the country and is a Federal Government Insurance Company. It is mainly for people 65 and older or younger people whom have been deemed to be disabled. It has 4 "parts," - Part A thru Part D.
